![]() When the DLC version of AB+ finally went live on September 27, it wasn’t initially visible on the console version of the store- I had to follow the link Nicalis tweeted to the web browser version of the store, purchase it from there, and send it to my PS4’s download queue. Edmund McMillen and Tyrone Rodriguez expressed confusion and consternation on their Twitter accounts, and updates over the next week became a blame game as Sony implied Nicalis hadn’t gone through the proper procedures for getting the digital release onto the PlayStation Store (while the publisher countered they’d done exactly that and had it ready to go weeks before, with Sony dropping the ball). The $40 physical release, clearly aimed at collectors and people who didn’t already own Rebirth and Afterbirth, hit store shelves on September 19, but the digital version was nowhere to be found.
